Andrew Williams' 60 cold water swims
So....in April a very dedicated and kind gentleman by the name of Andrew Williams, decided to raise funds for the JAM Fund charity. He did so by undertaking 60 cold water swims at sunrise and sunset every day of that month. Sometimes the morning temps were literally freezing (or below!) In the process, thanks to a lot of generous people, Andrew raised in excess of £3400. Today, I have driven to Blackwood and delivered the first gifts to one of the eight children who will benefit from Andrew's amazing efforts and YOUR generosity. THANK YOU from Milea Rose and her mum Naomi, for all Milea's new toys. Milea also has a little break from her ongoing chemotherapy treatment shortly, so she will be able to make use of them at home xx I wanted you all to SEE what a difference you make......this is what Jamie's charity and memory are all about. A good day today as also, a little girl from Swansea with visual impairment as a result of her treatment, is taking delivery of a specialist mobile phone and protective case and a young man from Penarth known to Andrew and myself is shortly to receive a specialist inflatable bath tub from Holland.....the first three children on the list as a result of Andrew's efforts.
