A free memorial stone for Jamie's Oak

There are some really kind people out there.
I have been trying to source a suitable stone/boulder on which to place Jamie's memorial plaque which will be sited alongside his memorial oak tree.

Shopping around showed me just how expensive these can be.

I contacted a Cardiff based company, The Stone Sign Company, based in Cowbridge Road West.

We had a chat and they told me they'd get back to me with some options/ prices.

Had a call from them earlier this afternoon telling me that they'd sourced a purple Welsh slate boulder about waist height ( not to me to normal people) and they would supply it, attach the memorial plaque to it, deliver it to the site, prepare adequate foundations and set it securely in the ground ..... Free of charge, which made me feel very humbled and quite emotional if I'm honest.

Massive thanks to Mr Oliver Morgan ( director) and Robin who took the call and without me knowing directed Mr Morgan to Jamie's website.

Some very kind people out there, it's not all bad news.

Humbled and grateful
