Almost half a million pounds raised in 20 years

Almost half a million pounds raised in 20 years

I'm very aware of the amount of posts I put on here about the JAM Fund charity ( blah blah blah)
I make no apologies though, because I am always extremely grateful for all the support it has had over the last 20 years . It's almost raised half a million pounds, something that far exceeds my original target of £5k.
I wanted to ensure Jamie's own bravery (and he was extremely brave) was commemorated through his memory, in helping children like him and families like mine.
In the summer, Jamie's brother Sam, and his friends Peter Fordham and Rhys W Davies, who both grew up knowing Jamie, organised a charity football tournament and family day. Their efforts resulted in a profit of £1700, which was added to by the charity to provide a £2250 electric wheelchair adapter for local 15 year old Niamh.
Niamh's mum Emma, explained how this device has really helped Niamh, offering a much higher amount of mobility and independence.
The JAM Fund will always be a small charity, run on a voluntary basis, making small differences to as many children's lives as possible.
I am very proud of how Jamie was and how his memory is helping others well after his passing. Proud too today of what his brother and their friends have been instrumental in achieving on this occasion.
This helps me personally, in trying to make sense of a horrible situation which still hits hard, especially at Christmas time ( his birthday)
I'd like to personally thank all players and supporters (again) local company sponsors and raffle donators and all volunteers who helped on the day.
This is the result, making a tangible difference to the life of a local child.
My apologies for ( yet another) long JAM Fund post,
I hope that being so small, and being able to show how your generosity is used, sets the JAM Fund apart.

My ( sincere) thanks once again.
