£500 of toys for Kettering General children's A&E
Seen here is ex Royal Navy shipmate and JAM Fund team member Jason Perkis. Jason today handed over £500 worth of toys and equipment to the Children's A&E department of his local hospital (Kettering General.) Staff member Alice Power (pictured second left) stated "Our patients and staff will greatly benefit from the distraction toys as our A&E Paeds sister has explained, the turn over of toys is particularly high at the moment and your donation of toys will make a massive difference as we treat our young patients".
The JAM Fund is also liaising with newlyweds Steve Hill and (Chrissy) Christine Hill Steve is another ex Royal Navy shipmate (drinking partner) and the couple's wedding plans were sadly disrupted by the Covid pandemic. Despite this they very generously requested that donations to the JAM Fund were made instead of wedding gifts and the net result is that two small children in their local region of Somerset will shortly receive gifts to the value of £500 each. My thanks to Jason, Steve and Chrissy and to all of you who contributed to make these donations possible.
