2024 Cardiff Half Marathon team raises around £6,582

Thank you to this year's JAM Fund Cardiff Half Marathon team, who, when gift aid is added, will collectively have raised in the region of £6582.
This will enable the charity to assist several local families and children. The charity has entered a team at the annual Cardiff event, every year since 2005, apart from when Covid forced the suspension of the race.
The 2025 half marathon sold out all it's 23,000 ballot places, in just three days! showing just how popular the event has become. I will have a number of places available for the charity however, and it would be great to get a few more ladies running as part of the team next year. Team vests are supplied and the minimum sponsorship request of £250, covers the costs of entry to the charity (£85 per runner) as well as the vest and transport. This is still one of the lowest requests of all charities entered.
As I previously stated, I wasn't intending to enter a team next year, as I am very conscious of continually asking for help, but several members of this year's team requested to run again and the increased popularity of the event has led to a change of mind.
Hopefully, the JAM Fund will be able to help more families as a result. I will update, (with pictures,) what this year's team proceeds are used for.
