2023 Cardiff Half Marathon team passes £7,000
Just wanted to give an update on this year's jamfund team at the Cardiff Half Marathon. With funds still to come in, the total raised has exceeded £7000. This means a profit of almost £4000 to the charity (so far) The pics show some of the team and also a little boy named Jensen from Plymouth, who has multiple complex needs and who has himself, raised £7000 towards the provision of a specialist play park for disabled children. The JAM Fund has already donated £2000 towards his £30,000 ( plus) target and another £4000 will be added shortly. In addition, there will be a donation at Christmas time, of gifts to children currently being treated at the children's cancer unit at University Hospital Wales in Cardiff. The charity is now targeting the complete financing of Jensen's wish and will continue adding funds until his target is reached. An online article on Plymouth live will cover the story of Jensen and the jamfund team's contribution in the near future. For the team members, ( thank you) and please pass on to your sponsors, so they know what you ran 13.1 miles for and the differences you will have made. (Pic with parental permission)
