Yorkshire fundraisers raise £2,000 for JAM Fund

Two charity boxing events held in Yorkshire have raised £2,000 for the charity as well as thousands more for other charities. Leeds based boxing promoter Mr Gary Atkin, a family friend who knew Jamie personally, organised the very successful events to help several charitable organisations.

In September 2009,Gary brought none other than Sugar Ray Leonard to the Queen's Hotel in Leeds and in March 2010 Mike Tyson visited Leeds United's Elland Road ground.

Both of these events proved highly successful and were covered by the Yorkshire press and television news.

A huge thank you to Gary Atkin and all those involved in these high profile events which proved wonderfully successful and helped the JAM Fund and other charities.
