WHEELCHAIR MINIBUS HANDED TO MARTIN HOUSE HOSPICE

The JAM Fund was delighted to hand the keys to a brand new wheelchair adapted Renault Master minibus to Martin House children's hospice in October 2008. The minibus keys were handed to Martin House representative Stuart Andrew, by Leeds Rhinos Rugby League team coach Brian Mclellan. The funds for the minibus were raised by the 2007 JAM Fund Cardiff half marathon team along with the people of Yorkshire (where Martin House is situated) who have collectively raised thousands of pounds for our charity.

Paul Adamson, JAM Fund chairman would like to thank everybody concerned with this wonderful achievement and to Mike Jones of Wigan car sales for arranging the delivery of the vehicle to Martin House. The mainstay of support for the charity are the South Wales and Yorkshire areas where Jamie's family and friends are based. The minibus has been donated to the Hospice as a thank you to the people of Yorkshire for their continuing and much valued support as the charity also runs the Jamie Adamson Static caravan holiday home which is situated in South Wales but used by poorly children from all over the UK free of charge for respite holidays.

The charity would also like to Thank Brian for taking time out from his busy schedule with the Rhinos to hand over the minibus and for kindly donating a signed training top for auction.
